About ACLynn

True adventurers of the fashion kind, a mother and daughter team, Dawn and Angela Culver have been journeying through life knowing that fashion was destined to be part of it. Starting at an early age of five, Dawn taught her daughter Angela the joy of sewing. Years later, the duo teamed up and launched ACLynn, a company that focuses on delivering a line of handbags and accessories that are fun, fashionable and functional.

Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, ACLynn offers high quality, functional handbags and accessories made with the finest materials. Each piece is individually stitched or woven, and personally inspected for quality and durability. Fabrics and styles are ever changing to ensure products that are fresh, new, and distinctively in fashion.

Prior to starting ACLynn, both ladies spent a great deal of their time traveling all over the world and were on the road anywhere from three days to six weeks. With their hectic travel schedule, Dawn working as a Quality Executive for JCPenney and Angela as a Marketing Director in the technology industry, found they were constantly carrying several different bags and totes to accommodate all of their belongings. Both being the type of person who prefers to travel light, Dawn and Angela began creating bags that would provide the functionality and style that other bags were missing.

From there, the initial idea for ACLynn was born. It was no surprise when they began receiving requests from others. Realizing there were many women who were looking for the types of innovative and stylish handbags and totes they were creating, Dawn and Angela began researching the handbag industry. With their savvy business skills and extensive knowledge in retail management, operations and production, and marketing and sales, ACLynn was formed in 2004.

Angela initially took the helm and managed the day-to-day operations and launched their first line in May 2005. Less than a year later, after Dawn retired from JCPenney she joined her daughter in running the company. Together they have infused their love of vintage with modern and simple design to create a truly classic and stylish collection. Their signature product line combines the diversity and cultural experiences both of them encountered throughout their life. Mix this with a bit of Southern flair and you have ACLynn!
